Unicode Pack FAQ
Is Unicode the same as Preeti?
No. Unicode is the modern text standard. Nepali text typed in Unicode renders on any phone, website, or app automatically; Preeti and other legacy fonts need the font installed to display.
How do I install the Unicode font pack?
Download unicode-pack.zip, extract it, then on Windows right-click each .ttf and choose Install (or copy them into C:\Windows\Fonts). On macOS, double-click each .ttf and click Install Font.
Which Nepali font should I use for websites and mobiles?
Use a Unicode font. Text stays readable for everyone without them installing anything, and it is what apps like WhatsApp expect.
