Kantipur is a legacy Nepali font associated with government forms, publications, and administrative documents. Like Preeti it uses a pre-Unicode encoding, so it is best kept for documents and layouts that must stay exactly as typed.

Extract the archive to get the TrueType (KANTIPUR.ttf) file.

Windows: right-click the .ttf and choose Install, or copy it into C:\Windows\Fonts. macOS: double-click the .ttf and click Install Font. Then type with the traditional Nepali (Remington) layout - the text appears in Kantipur.
